Therapy can either support freedom or quietly undermine it.

Anti-oppressive therapy means I’m always asking: whose definition of “healthy” are we working from? Who gets to define healing? I don’t pathologize survival. I don’t ask you to shrink so you’re easier to treat.

The first Pride wasn’t a parade. It was a riot led by Black and brown trans women who were done surviving quietly. Let’s honor them by not living so quietly.

In healing, we learn that living loudly is a reclamation of our identity and joy. Take up the space. Not just this month, but always 🏳️‍🌈🩷🤍🩵

Therapist transparency:
The recent news has been hard on my nervous system and I spent the weekend dysregulated and confused on how I want/can/am able to move through this fu**ed up world. But I know one thing, being in this space (my office) with my clients, I am almost always regulated and fully present as myself. Sharing stories, life and space with other humans is where it’s at for me and I’m so grateful to get to do this everyday with my people.

I wanted to share some exciting news with you, JP
Therapy Services is officially rebranding to Ro Therapy & Wellness!

The new name better reflects who I am, the work we do together, and where the practice is headed.
It’s not just a name change, it’s also a commitment to building something bigger and better for the people I serve.

I am expanding services to include:
-EMDR Intensives: for those who want to move faster and do concentrated trauma processing work in extended sessions
-Ketamine Assisted Therapy: a new offering that combines the therapeutic potential of ketamine with trauma-informed support before, during, and after sessions
