Exciting News!
We just received approval as a provider in the VA Community Care Network, meaning all eligible
veterans can now receive care with us at zero out-of-pocket cost.
Colorado Spine and Disc is a branch of West Texas Neck and Back, which has been a preferred provider with the VA for over 20 years. That's two decades of serving the men and women who served this country, building systems, relationships, and a standard of care specifically around what veterans need. When we opened Colorado Spine and Disc here in Colorado Springs, we didn't start from scratch, we showed up with a proven system and two decades of experience behind us. This Community Care Network approval isn't a new chapter for us. It's a continuation of a 20-year commitment.
The Process Is Super Simple… We Handle Everything
We know that dealing with the VA can feel like a full-time job so we built our care coordination
team so it doesn't have to be.
Here's your entire to-do list:
1. Go see your VA primary care provider
2. Ask for a Community Care referral to:
JW Spine and Disc (our legal entity name) or
to see Dr. Matthew Shem
3. That's it!
Once that referral is in, we will take over. We will coordinate with the VA, handle the authorization, schedule your appointments, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks. You focus on showing up and we'll handle everything else.
