RAW Body Piercing has officially been open for 10 years. I remember that bright-eyed ambitious 23 year old girl who knew absolutely nothing about running a business. She just knew she loved what she did and wanted to build something of her own.

These last 10 years have forced me to grow in ways I never expected. I’ve learned that passion alone isn’t enough, you need discipline. I’ve learned that leadership isn’t about having all the answers; it’s about showing up, making hard decisions, owning your mistakes, and continuing to learn.

Running a business has shown me that success isn’t just measured by milestones or numbers, but by the lives you impact, the trust you build, and the legacy you create.

There have been incredible highs and moments that tested everything I thought I knew. There were days I questioned myself, days I wanted to give up, and days I celebrated victories I once thought were impossible. Every single one of those moments shaped the person I am today.

To everyone who has been part of this journey employees past and present, clients, friends, family, and every person who has supported my business thank you 🫶🏾 Whether you were here for a season or have been with me since the beginning, you helped write this story.

As I look back, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude. As I look ahead, I’m excited because I know I’m only really just getting started.
