You can also schedule appointments for primary care, pediatrics, women’s health, behavioral health, substance use disorder services, follow-up care, and lab or diagnostic result consultations.

Today, First Choice Immediate Care – Adair and Cumberland Pharmacy joined together to wear pink and show our support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month! 💕 We stand together to raise awareness, encourage early detection, and remind our community that no one has to face breast cancer alone.

Today, we also had the privilege of honoring three incredible breast cancer survivors. 💗 Their strength, courage, and resilience are a beautiful reminder of what it means to fight, persevere, and inspire others. We are so proud to stand alongside them and celebrate their journeys!

Football, soccer, volleyball, cross country, and other fall sports are a great way to stay active—but injuries can happen, even to the best-prepared athletes.

Common sports injuries include:

🦵 Sprains & strains
🏃 Muscle pulls
🤕 Head injuries & concussions
🦶 Ankle and knee injuries
💥 Bruises and minor fractures

Help keep your athlete on the field by encouraging proper warm-ups, staying hydrated, wearing appropriate protective equipment, and giving the body time to rest and recover.

Don’t play through an injury just to stay in the game. If pain, swelling, limited movement, or other symptoms develop after an injury, getting evaluated can help determine the best next step.

As we head into the fall and winter months, respiratory illnesses like colds, flu, COVID-19, RSV, and other infections become more common.

🤧 Know the signs:
• Cough or congestion
• Sore throat
• Fever or chills
• Runny nose
• Fatigue or body aches
• Shortness of breath or wheezing

Help protect yourself and those around you by washing your hands regularly, covering coughs and sneezes, getting plenty of rest, and staying home when you’re sick.

You never know what someone may be carrying behind a smile. This month, let’s make an extra effort to check in with the people around us.

👂 Listen without judgment.
❤️ Remind them they are loved and valued.
🤝 Encourage them to reach out for help when they need it.

Sometimes, simply letting someone know “I’m here for you” can mean more than you realize.
