If there was only ONE muscle I could treat on anyone dealing with lower back pain, it would be the quadratus lumborum. Its nickname is “Hip Hiker”. Have you been told you had a shorter leg? Then in all likelihood, your QL is skewing your pelvis to one side, and unless you have one femur (bone) that didn’t fully grow, it is a rotation problem and IT IS TREATABLE by soft tissue therapies. Because of its proximity to the kidneys, find a skilled massage therapist before you let an amateur dig around for it!
