It is with profound sorrow that we have to share that Jon Stokes passed away yesterday.

Jon was the heart and soul of Stone Crow-the kindest, most gentle presence in so many people’s lives. He loved deeply and he was loved just as deeply in return.

Jon’s creative spirit sparked the beginning of Stone Crow, but it was his warmth, generosity, and light that made it a home for so many, many people for the past 15 years.

His family is profoundly grateful for the community Jon cherished. We hope that the memories and stories we all share of Jon continue to be a lasting presence in all of our lives.

Thank you for holding him, and each other, in your hearts during this very difficult time.
