Do you know how many feet of chain?

Each crank cart has 4 to 6 feet of chain. We buy it in spools totaling 7,000 feet at a time. In addition, we use your gifts to buy the links to make the chain length needed for each type of cart.

Thank you to all who sent in your gift for the $56,000 spring matching drive and so quickly. Four weeks after the letter and opportunity went out, 157 gifts arrived totaling $60,780. More than enough to receive the match. $26,000 in matching funds have been deposited. Thank you to the two families that sponsored.

What we accomplish is only possible because of the incredible commitment of our volunteers, donors, churches, businesses and community partners. Whether you spend hours in the workshop, support us financially, help at events or share our mission with others, you are making a lasting difference in people's lives.

As we move through the second half of the year, we're on pace for another impactful year. With your continued support, we hope to build and ship even more carts, welcome new volunteers, and reach more individuals who are waiting for the gift of mobility.

We're looking for metal workers and welders to help us build more Mobility Carts for people with leg disabilities around the world.

Whether you're an experienced welder, have metalworking skills or would simply like to learn something new, we'd love to have you join our volunteer team. Training is provided, so you can bring your existing skills or develop new ones while making a meaningful difference.

Volunteers help keep supplies ready for the welding team and assist with general production. Metal workers may work on the band saw, grinder or milling machine—every task plays an important role in building Mobility Carts that bring greater independence, dignity and opportunity to those who otherwise have limited mobility.

To learn more or schedule a tour of the workshop, please call 573-886-7877 and ask for Mike, Shop Foreman, or email [email protected].

Family Day activities were enjoyed by visitors of all ages.

In addition to learning how carts bring hope and mobility around the world, visitors participated in hands-on opportunities building carts and even witnessed a container being filled for shipment to Kenya.

This new crop of “ambassadors” can now spread the story of Mobility Worldwide.

Thanks to all who came and to all the volunteers who made this event a success. The shop was buzzing with activity.
