A major milestone for pediatric cancer care in South Carolina.

During Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, we are proud to join the South Carolina Department of Public Health and the South Carolina Children’s Hospital Collaborative in sharing the state’s inaugural Pediatric Cancer Plan.

This plan represents a shared commitment to improving childhood cancer survival, strengthening quality of life for patients and families, and expanding access to high quality care across our state. We are grateful to every partner, provider, advocate, patient, and family whose insight helped move this important work forward.

Roper St. Francis Mobile Health will host a free prostate cancer screening event from 1-5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11, at the Greer Transitions Clinic, 5133 Rivers Ave., in North Charleston.

To participate, men must be 40 or older and have never had a PSA test.
