Jewelry quality for an initial piercing is very important, for a helix it is usually normal to start off with a flat back with a longer bar.

One of my regulars came in today with a piercing she received in March from another shop in Columbia.

She got a ball back with a large top, which was also not long enough for swell, she said her swelling has not gone down since she got it, she has also been in pain from it, and struggling to sleep 😔

So I was as gentle as possible, and switched her jewelry to a titanium flat back longer bar since she was still swollen. She was incredibly thankful, and enjoyed seeing space in between her piercings.

She felt instant relief as soon as I took the ball off! It is always good to ask your piercer what kind of jewelry they will be using before inserting. It was a learning lesson for sure!

I also got a photo of a healed belly button I had done previously on her! I also only use quality titanium jewelry for my clients ❤️

She knew she wanted her lobes pierced! Mom called and asked if her MiMi could bring her, I was happy to oblige since I had mom’s consent.

After we did her first lobe she was scared to do the 2nd, this can be normal, she was tough and did it anyways. She’s so happy now, I was happy they decided to include me on their journey ✨

Did you know globally still 83% of people are still concealing their s*xual orientation?!

That’s a lot! Personally, I believe everyone has a right to love who they want regardless being of the same s*x or not!

While others may not believe that, we still have the right to celebrate our authentic selves!

I myself am the B in LGBTQ, I also support trans rights! Let’s stand proudly this month, I know I will!
