Horizontal labret! We used a staple bar, she had this piercing done multiple times, and the artists used a curved bar unfortunately.

As an artist myself, I personally would not use a curved bar for these piercings. Due to the jewelry not meant to sit under, which can cause rejection.

The surface bar is meant for sitting under the skin more comfortably, with less of a chance for rejection. For this piercing you do need a full bottom lip
