Every Thursday 8:30am
Yoga with me
Today was sublime.
It’s always a unique experience moving into stillness, feeling strong and reconnecting with the truth of who you are.
See you next week!

How are you being in this moment?
Feet on the ground?
Standing steady and strong? Managing the waves of life as they arise?
Or thinking ahead?
Anxious?
Ruminating about things that you cannot control?
Can you stand in your feet the way you want to stand in your life?
Be in your body in this precious moment?

Join me Sunday, May 10th, for a special Mother’s Day class 💛

Come breathe, move, and give yourself the space you so rarely claim.

Let the weight of it all melt away as I guide you through a nourishing and empowering experience for both body and mind.

You’ll leave feeling refreshed, reconnected, and more like you again—ready to step back into the “Mom” role with a little more ease and energy for whatever life sends your way.

You deserve this. Come be taken care of. 🌸

The Bible reminds us that ease comes when we surrender our heaviness to gentleness.
Confucianism says that true ease comes from inner steadiness rather than ego.
The Dow teaches that ease arises when we meet things early and lightly.
So basically don’t push the river.
Let go and allow ease to arise.
Hard to do in this world, eh?
But a worthy endeavor nonetheless 😉
As they say “if not now, when?“
How can you ease up a little today? What will you do to lighten your load? What no longer serves you?.

Are you an algorithm ju**ie? A text titillator? A FOMO fiend? There’s this thing about being human. We want to belong, to be accepted, or to be a part of something, but this piece of us gets fed and in not such great ways these days by our beloved drug of choice: social media. It doesn’t have to be social media. It can be anything really. Anything that creates a yearning with an alluring undercurrent that leads us down instead of up. All those things that create the deliriously delicious dopamine hit. Do you know when we actually get the hit?
Take a peek at my last post and join the companions do-over.
I’m trying. And I don’t care what Yoda says, everyone we “try” we’re creating better habits.

How often do you second guess yourself?
Do you really know what’s going on in your mind or is the pace of nonstop information input keeping you from seeing your truth?
How do you treat a child?
A pet?
A loved one?
Is that how you treat yourself?
Or is your inner critic working overtime like mine?
Take a moment right now and think of one kind thing you did today.
Something you said or offered to someone.
Now thank yourself.
Appreciate you for exactly who you are ☺️
You deserve it.
After all, we’re only human.
Designed to stumble, learn and try again.

Have you been numbing out on things these days?
Maybe the phone?
Perhaps the TV?
Secretly drugs, and alcohol?
Perhaps religion?
Or even Yoga?
I have 🖐🏼
Sometimes it’s easier to go down the rabbit hole then to pull your head out of the sand.

I don’t talk about pretzley yoga, poses, or how to be a spiritual bypasser.
I talk about the real nitty-gritty of dealing with depression and the upside down world that we live in.
