With a sharp eye for detail, a deep passion for community health, and a heart for patient care, Antoinette is the engine behind Biocentric’s success.

Her leadership bridges clinical research and real-world impact — keeping our team focused, our trials on track, and our mission thriving. 💙

Biocentric Health Research Center had the opportunity to bring clinical research directly to Food for the Soul a true example of community-centered research. We’re bringing research to the people.
🩺🏾🧬❤️

For the past two days, we had the opportunity to meet people where they are and make participation in research a little more accessible. We brought research outside of the traditional research setting and into a place that is already doing incredible work to serve our community.

Food for the Soul provides meals, shelter, resources, and support to individuals and families facing some of life’s most difficult circumstances. And we are so grateful to partner with an organization doing this kind of work.

And Ms. Tina Griggs, the Executive Director, is AMAZING. Her heart for people, her commitment to the community,I watched her for two days and my eyes welled up with tears, I saw her serve food, extend her reach into the community, mentor, provide mental health support, ensured safety, she is truly an angel 💕❤️🌸✨

This is what ministry looks like for us. ❤️

Recently, the sweetest patient came in and brought someone new with her. We cut UP, baby! 😂 One thing about me and Mr. Belton: even when we’re not having the best day, we make a conscious effort to adjust our attitude and show up with love. And our patients have a way of lifting our spirits right when we need it. 💜

Before she left, she asked, “Y’all aren’t affiliated with the one in West Columbia, are you?”

I paused and said, “Yes, ma’am. That used to be our location.” She had never met us when we were fully staffed, and she shared how unhappy she had been with the way she was treated. I immediately apologized.

That conversation reminded me that even while working on other projects, we are still responsible for the care people receive in the place GOD entrusted to us. You cannot lose sight of what HE has called you to shepherd.

So here we are, me and Mr. Belton, serving side by side and staying present in the day-to-day. We want every person who walks through our doors to feel seen, heard, and valued.

We may have had other plans, but THIS is our ministry.

Come unpack a study medication shipment with me 😊🧡- Being a part of the drug development process is rewarding but it is no joke, there is a lot of work involved. These are the moments that remind us why we do this work. Research is thought to just be about studies, blood draws and moving patients in and out —BUT it’s our ministry, compassion, connection, and making a difference.

THIS is what moving medicine forward is all about. 🩺💙
