Congratulations! You’ve taken the first step toward feeling your best.

When you arrive for your first appointment at MPC, located at 4603 John Garry Dr. #17, plan to come a few minutes early so we can get you checked in and show you to your room. We’ll walk you through how the panels work and answer any questions before your session begins.

From there, your session is completely private. For the best experience, we recommend wearing minimal clothing or un******ng to your comfort level to allow for maximum skin exposure. This helps the infrared light reach more of the body to support circulation, recovery, and relaxation.

Once you start your session using the app on our in-room tablet, simply lay back, put on your protective eyewear, and relax. The red light panels will beep halfway through to let you know it’s time to turn over, and will automatically shut off when your session is complete.

Red and near-infrared light work at the cellular level, specifically targeting the mitochondria where energy (ATP) is produced. When cells have more energy available, they’re better equipped to manage inflammation, repair tissue, and maintain normal function.

This matters in arthritis because joint pain isn’t just structural—it’s also driven by chronic inflammation, reduced circulation, and a gradual decline in cellular efficiency over time.

By improving blood flow and supporting cellular activity, light therapy helps create an environment where joints can move more freely and with less discomfort.

PEMF can help manage arthritic pain!

As inflammation is reduced and oxygen and nutrients are delivered more efficiently to the joint, the surrounding tissue is able to function with less stress.

At the same time, PEMF influences the way pain signals are processed, which can help decrease the perception of pain. With less inflammation and more efficient cellular function, many people notice not only reduced discomfort, but also smoother, more natural movement and improved mobility over time.

It’s a non-invasive, drug-free way to support long-term joint comfort and function.

Most people think healing is just about blood flow. But oxygen availability is a separate variable.

You can have circulation to an area—and still not be delivering as much oxygen as you think at the tissue level.

That’s because when under pressure oxygen is not only carried by red blood cells but can dissolve directly into plasma and reaich areas that are harder to perfuse.

That distinction matters in healing.

Oxygen is required for collagen formation, new blood vessel growth, and how efficiently your cells produce energy. When availability increases, those processes can function more effectively.

This is why oxygen-based approaches are used in situations where healing is slow or limited—not because the body isn’t trying, but because the environment can be improved.
PEMF, red light, and mHBOT each interact with the healing process differently. Each can support healing on its own, and can also be used together for more optimal healing depending on the situation.

Bone healing requires energy—not just activation.

Your body is already working to repair the injury. The efficiency and speed of that process depends on ATP (cellular energy) to power each step—from collagen production to new tissue formation.

Multiple therapies can support this—including PEMF.

Red and near infrared light support this process more directly by interacting with the mitochondria (the energy centers of your cells). This helps increase ATP production and improve how oxygen is used at the cellular level.

This matters because bone repair is energy-intensive—osteoblasts need ATP to produce collagen matrix, lay down new structure, and support ongoing remodeling.

By increasing available cellular energy, red light helps support the processes that rebuild and strengthen bone.

Like PEMF, this supports healing through a different physiological pathway.

Next: how oxygen availability influences everything happening at the tissue level.

PEMF therapy is more than relaxation, it’s cellular rehab for your nervous system. ✨
By enhancing ATP production, improving circulation, and stimulating nerve growth factors (like NGF + BDNF), PEMF helps regenerate damaged nerve tissue and supports the repair of the myelin sheath — the insulation that allows your nerves to communicate efficiently.
When myelin is restored, communication between brain and body strengthens — and healing begins from within.
