The National Cancer Institute CCDI's Molecular Characterization Initiative has enrolled 10,000 participants! This program offers advanced analysis of a tumor or blood at no cost, helping identify that patient's best treatment options, and lends itself to the larger database that informs researchers around the world. It gives us great hope that this collection of data will make a profound change in developing better treatments for our kids fighting cancer! Every September, my hospital turns gold. Ribbons appear on badges, families share photographs and stories, and we remember children still in treatment, survivors growing into adulthood, and those we have lost.

A million thank yous to board member Matt Cimino and Constellation Home, for hosting its 2nd annual golf tournament yesterday benefitting CCF.
