🟢 Rocking green today for Mental Health Awareness Month! It's so great to have a team ready to participate in days like today. Our individuals joined in, as well. Green is deeply rooted to psychological and symbolic meanings, such as growth in nature and its connection to being a calming color. By choosing to wear green today, we open up opportunities for conversations about mental health and how important it is to prioritize selfcare to show up for yourself and others.

🤗Take a moment every day to prioritize self-care the rest of the week. When it comes to mental health, just ten minutes a day to care for yourself can make a real difference. A short walk, a quiet moment with your thoughts, stretching, journaling — whatever helps you slow down — can steady your mind and create a little more space to breathe. Small habits add up, and giving yourself that time is a simple way to support your mental well‑being.

Keep mental health awareness at the forefront of your mind this week by joining us in this week's care challenge.

🌺 May is Mental Health Awareness Month. This month encourages all of us to pause, check in with ourselves, and support the people around us. Help create a community where everyone feels seen, supported, and empowered to seek help when they need it.

Impact Support Services aims to pour into the well-being of all individuals in our programs, as well as our staff, because we understand the impact mental health has on all aspects.

Yesterday evening, we joined multiple IDD providers in the Columbia area to share information with youth and their families about our organization. This event was in partnership with Thompson Center for Autism and Neurodevelopment and Columbia Public Schools. Big thanks to our directors of Career Services, Residential Services and Youth Services for attending! They helped families better understand our programs, funding and other important information.
