A woman on the beach told me this one wouldn’t sting.
A man walking by said, “Oh, they don’t sting that much?”
“No,” she said. “They don’t sting.”
Five minutes later I heard him telling someone else they “don’t sting that much.” 😂
Sir.
But also...me.
Because I’ve spent my whole life thinking jellyfish = sting = absolutely not touching that.
Until I got curious enough to find out if what I believed was actually true.
And it made me think about how often we hear the same thing about acupuncture.
“I hate needles.”
“Needles hurt.”
“I could never do acupuncture.”
Maybe.
But acupuncture needles are probably not what you’re imagining.
And sometimes the only way to find out if the story in your head matches the actual experience is to get curious enough to try.
