Have you ever wondered what happens if you’re in a power lift chair during a power outage? I put the lithium backup battery on our PRIDE Mobility VivaLift Radiance to the test.

Spoiler: After 5 hours without power, and all the ups and downs, the backup battery still didn’t fail.

While there are multiple factors that influence the longevity of the backup battery power supply, I hope you feel more confident in the ability of your device during a power disruption.

**Always follow the manufacturers recommendations for operation of your power lift recliner. Using it outside of recommendations may cause premature failure of components, unsafe conditions, and/or void the warranty. Don’t try this at home.
