At Assisted Independence, the voices of the individuals and families we serve matter.

We’re honored to share a few comments from our 2026 Annual Survey of Individual Satisfaction that highlight the dedication of our Recreational Therapists and Direct Support Professionals:

“The level of care that is offered to my daughter is great and having things planned for her to be a part of something that her previous service providers did not offer.”

“Kaylee is great at trying to draw my son out and get him to try new things.”

“We want our son to be more social, and to learn to communicate and advocate for himself, and develop relationships. Lizzy helps in every aspect when she works with him.” … “Our son’s recreational therapist has been tremendous.”

“Micah is patient, friendly, and creative.”

“We’ve been very happy with all the RT’s we’ve had.”

“We love Micah. She does very well with our son.”

“Lizzy Terry is great! I really appreciate her communication and individualization.”

“I have always been happy with using Assisted Independence because of great communication, friendly and compassionate staff, and they are easy to work with.”

To our incredible team members—thank you for the compassion, creativity, patience, and commitment you bring each day. And to the individuals and families who trust us to be part of your journey, thank you for allowing us to support you in building meaningful, independent, and fulfilling lives.
