It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Homer E. Williams, MD — the founder of what would become Downtown Dermatology and a true pioneer of dermatologic care in Columbus.
Dr. Williams practiced dermatology in Downtown Columbus for nearly five decades, building a legacy rooted in excellence, compassion, and equitable access to care for every patient who walked through his door. A Board-Certified Dermatologist, Army veteran, and devoted educator, he touched countless lives — as a physician, a mentor to Family Practice Residents, and a Clinical Professor at both The Ohio State University and Ohio University College of Medicine.
We are honored to carry forward the standard of care he set. His matter-of-fact kindness, confidence, humor, and commitment to his patients will forever be woven into the fabric of this practice.
