10G navel piercing
First 2 photos are done fresh, 2 months ago
The last two are ones from today where we got to downsize this big boy.

Looming closely at the top point of the bottom navel, you can see minor irritation from waiting a week or so too long before downsizing. Irritations like these, although minor, are imperative to get fixed fast for essential piercing and bodily health

Waiting too long to downsize a piercing may result in thing such as, but not limited to, irritation bumps, keloid, rejection, tilting, etc.

Large Guage stuff is awesome and I'd love to do more of it for the world. They typically heal out a bit smoother than smaller, wire sized jewelry.
Contrary to popular belief, large Guage does NOT mean more painful.
You do NOT lose skin tissue with these, when piercing needles are used properly.

THIS is what a healed piercings looks like
The skin looks flawlessly the same inside the piercing channel as it does on the outside of the piercing channel
Once you get to this point, you can put a hoop into there.
I absolutely do NOT use hoops on these types of piercing to start.
I will NOT swap your still healing piercing to a hoop
They put way too much pressure on these types of areas without going large Guage and large diameter. The results typically end up with keloid, rejection, or misshapen piercing channels all together.
