💪🎉 Senior Health & Fitness Day 2026 was a huge success!

Our residents enjoyed an active and energizing day dedicated to health, wellness, and fun. Residents traveled throughout the building to participate in a variety of Mini-FIT classes designed to keep both their bodies and minds moving.

🥊 Boxing Mini-FIT Class – Residents worked on strength, coordination, and endurance while having a knockout good time!

🚶 Walk Mini-FIT Class – Participants got their steps in while enjoying movement and socialization with friends.

🧠 Brain Mini-FIT Class – Mental fitness took center stage as residents challenged their minds with engaging cognitive activities.

✈️ Dreams can still take flight ✈️

Roger, an Air Force Veteran lovingly known as one of “The Last Bakalar Boys,” has always carried a deep connection to Bakalar Air Force Base and the skies above it. His dream was simple but meaningful—to fly again from the place he loved so much.

With the support of Roger’s wife and family, Silver Oaks Health Campus, and our wonderful friends at Jeff Air, Roger’s “Live A Dream” became a reality.

Watching Roger return to the runway brought smiles, memories, and emotions that words can hardly capture. From stories of his time connected to Bakalar Air Force Base to the excitement of taking flight once more, this day was truly unforgettable.

We are honored to help make dreams like Roger’s come true and celebrate the incredible lives and stories of our residents every day. ❤️
