GARDEN GNOME HERE! • GARDEN TIPS
Water early in the day and deeply - 6-8” soil depth to encourage your plants to send roots down into the earth.
Also, apply 2-3” mulch around the plants to suppress weeds and retain moisture
Check for disease and bugs, especially Japanese beetles and aphids. Hand-pick beetles at first sign and put in soapy water. Remove plants with aphids and bag, don’t add to your compost pile.
Pick daily.
Succession plant, possibly moving the second planting to a shadier location.
Most of all, care for your garden and enjoy it!!!
