Our West Central School students have been busy working and exploring so far this fall! When they aren’t checking out the beautiful fall colors and picking pumpkins at Lynd’s Fruit Farm and Circle S Farms , they are developing vocational skills by folding pizza boxes at various Mikey’s Late Night Slice locations around the city.

Registration for the 2026 Project STIR is Now Open! Project STIR is a 3-day training taught by people with Developmental Disabilities. You will learn to use tools to help you advocate for yourself, connect with others and gain leadership skills. You will also learn how to empower people with disabilities to have greater choice and control.

📍 Location: Columbus Airport Marriott
1375 N. Cassady Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43219
⏰ Registration Deadline: November 6, 2026 @ 11:59 PM

Key Details:
• Each participant attends with an Ally at no additional cost.
• An Ally (support person) can be staff, family, or even an SSA.
• One Ally may support more than one participant.
• Cost to attend is $50 total for both the individual and ally; fee can be paid by the individual or split ($25 each) with the ally.
