While the majority of our costs are covered by insurance. We are a non-for-profit hospice and our goal is to provide the best care to anyone requiring our service, despite financial or insurance means. As we observe Chaplain Appreciation Month, we would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Our Hospice chaplains.

Through compassionate listening, spiritual guidance, emotional support, and a comforting presence, chaplains help patients and families navigate their journey with dignity, peace, and hope. They provide care that touches the heart and soul, helping individuals find meaning and comfort during challenging times.

Thank you to our chaplains for your unwavering dedication and the profound impact you make on the lives of those we serve. Your compassion is a gift, and we appreciate you making every moment count.

💙 With gratitude, we celebrate you.

Our newest bereavement group offering!

The Peer Support Group is an open, supportive gathering for individuals coping with loss. The group meets once a month and is designed as a sharing‑based experience rather than a structured program.

Our Bereavement Specialist, Paula Neibert, will be present at each meeting to guide discussion and offer prompts, but the focus is on participant‑led conversation. Attendees may share as much or as little as they feel comfortable. There is no required curriculum, allowing each session to respond organically to the group’s needs.

Free & Open to the Community. Questions? Please contact our Bereavement Specialist Paula at 812-314-8036 or [email protected].

💙 Happy Environmental Services Week! 💙

This week, we celebrate and thank our incredible Environmental Services team, Bing Goddard and Stella Arnholt, for the vital role they play every day.

Their hard work and attention to detail help keep our inpatient facility clean, safe, comfortable, and welcoming for everyone who walks through our doors. But their impact goes far beyond cleanliness. Through their kindness, friendly smiles, and compassionate interactions, they often brighten the days of the patients and families they meet along the way.

We are grateful for all they do behind the scenes and the care they show to those we serve. Thank you for helping make every moment count.

Shoutout to Angela & David in the IT department! A huge Thank You to the team for:

🛠️ Fixing the things we constantly break.
🤐 Never openly judging our terrible password choices.
🦸‍♂️ Treating our accidental deletions like national emergencies.
🔄 Reminding us to turn it off and back on again (with extreme patience).

We know we are a handful, but your ability to translate our panicked tech descriptions into actual solutions is pure magic. We literally could not run without you! 🙌
