Massage therapy work isn’t always hands on. Today is the day for all the other work people don’t always see behind massage therapy.
Sometimes it’s continuing education, studying trauma and the body, learning new techniques, researching ways to better care for clients, answering messages late at night, scheduling, cleaning, washing endless laundry, restocking supplies, bookkeeping, marketing, and constantly growing behind the scenes.
What happens in the treatment room is only a small part of what being a massage therapist truly involves. We carry the responsibility of creating a safe, professional, healing environment while continuing to learn and improve every day for the people who trust us with their care.
The hands may do the work, but the heart, mind, and dedication behind it matter just as much. 🤍
On another note, this hot white mocha from UP down Eatery & Coffeehouse sure makes it easier. 😉
