Carving a jack-o’-lantern is a Halloween tradition, but it can also lead to painful hand and wrist injuries if you’re not careful.
Before you grab your tools, keep these tips in mind:
🔪 Use the right tools: Choose a pumpkin carving kit instead of a kitchen knife.
↗️ Cut safely: Always carve away from your body and keep your other hand clear of the blade.
👀 Keep kids safe: Children should be supervised and kept away from sharp carving tools.
🕯️ Skip the flame: Use a battery-powered light instead of an open candle inside your pumpkin.
