Ready for something a little different?

Not a lot of you know this but before I was a piercer, I was a fine dining chef for quite some time. Though I don't cook in professional kitchens anymore, cooking is still very much a passion of mine that I've been getting reacquainted with in the past year.

I thought it might be fun and a cool change of pace to share this experience with all of you. This is just an exploration to judge interest, but ideally I could see future videos blending glimpses of things I'm passionate about in my personal life simultaneously with piercing related content. Officially back in Columbus and booking!!!

Guys - I'm super excited to be piercing at the one and only Gahanna Tattoo and cannot express how much it means to me to have been given the opportunity! I'm currently in the studio on a limited schedule, but that just means you get the best of me and the time we get to spend together will be all that more special! Hey all - I'm excited to finally announce that I am joining the awesome team at Gahanna Tattoo! It has been an immensely positive experience spending the past week observing and shadowing in the studio and it was obvious right away that I was among a collective of artists who have a mutual passion for and unwavering commitment to professionalism, creative growth, and client satisfaction. In other words: precisely where I want to be!

I will be operating on a limited schedule for a time, so I strongly recommend getting a hold of me directly to book your piercing appointments. I will be making a follow-up post with my walk-in availability soon.

Sorry to spring this on all of you, but today was my last day piercing at Underground Tattoo Station. Over the past two years, I've worked incredibly hard to raise the standard of body piercing in Licking County to a level that all of you deserve and was desperately needed. Underground gave me the opportunity and the autonomy to be able to do that. For a time.

I am grateful to all of you who put your trust in me, for all your wonderful reviews, all the people you've recommended me to and I wish you nothing but continued good experiences with your future piercings!

Speaking of, if you are in need of a quality studio staffed by ethical and professional piercers, I cannot recommend enough. If you need any guidance or have questions about piercings I have done for you, I'm happy to answer your messages for a time.

Did these sick pair of angel fangs last week that came out looking sharp! 16G titanium curved barbells with 3x3 titanium spikes and opposing beads give this setup a classic industrial feel that pairs up perfectly with the paired nostrils we did last time!

Was initially a little concerned about there not being enough tissue for long term viability, but we did a health check and a downsize today and they're both healing fantastically! Definitely one of my recent favorites.

Forward helix piercings can be notoriously difficult to heal and to do so successfully really starts with being set up for success from the start with a proper anatomy evaluation and piercing placement.

Because this particular client's rook is oriented pretty low, it necessitated a higher placement for the double we decided on here. Adequate spacing was necessary so the barbells wouldn't make contact with one another on the back end and would allow plenty of room above the rook for the longer posts. The spacing also allows for different end sizes in the future (perhaps a staggered size gem combo), but we agreed that starting with the beads would allow for easier cleaning and less likelihood of snagging during the first month or so of healing.
