Some of you may have seen my recent post about potentially closing down House of Plenty Community Exchange, a program under my nonprofit SolBloom Collective.
After taking time to reflect, I’ve realized I’m not giving up on this vision, I’m simply restructuring while I search for a more aligned long-term space.

The previous building no longer felt community or family friendly, and after navigating some personal hardships recently, I became discouraged for a moment. But I know this work is still needed, and I still deeply believe in what House of Plenty can become.

So moving forward, House of Plenty (a program under SolBloomCo) will continue through online item postings and community pop-up exchange events.

I’ll be posting clothing, household items, children’s items, essentials, and more on the new House of Plenty page for people to claim. Everything will remain donation-based, but payment is never expected.

Right now, my biggest ask is this:

I’m looking for someone who may feel aligned with partnering with us by offering outdoor space/land for occasional community pop-up events throughout the summer.

The vision includes:
• free/donation-based clothing & household exchange
• kid-friendly outdoor play areas/games
• space for families to gather
• fresh-pressed juices & healthy refreshments
• community wellness activities like group meditation

The goal is to create something peaceful, supportive, organized, and community-centered, not chaotic.

I’m also reaching out to parks, schools, churches, and community spaces, but I wanted to see if anyone in the community personally felt aligned with helping us create something beautiful together.

If this is something you may potentially be open to, please feel free to message me. 🤍

If you don’t have anything to give right now, please still stop by, that’s exactly what this space is here for. I would truly love to see these shelves cleared and items going to people who can use them.

Currently available:

• men’s clothing
• kids’ clothing
• shoes
• toys & books
• household essentials
• small furniture

GPS may take you behind the building, please enter from the front where you’ll see two large windows with clothing inside.

Hope to see you today!

Important Update: Donation Drop-Off Changes at House of Plenty

I want to share an important update regarding donation drop-offs at the Leonard Ave location.

Recently, I was informed that building management has told individuals that items left for House of Plenty could be discarded if dropped off outside scheduled times. Because I cannot risk community donations being thrown away, unscheduled drop-offs at Leonard Ave are no longer permitted.

This was not a decision I wanted to make, but it’s necessary to protect the time, care, and generosity people put into donating.

Updated drop-off options:

📦 Leonard Ave
Saturdays from 12 PM – 6 PM, or by scheduling a time with me directly

📍 Bethel Rd (1515 Bethel Rd, Suite 301)
Monday–Friday, 8 AM – 5:30 PM
Best for small–medium donation loads

🚚 Donation pickup may also be available depending on scheduling

I truly appreciate everyone who has supported House of Plenty by dropping items off over the past several months. Your generosity is what keeps this space running.

I will also be transitioning House of Plenty to a new location soon that better supports consistent community access. More updates on that will be shared as plans develop.

Quick reminder for my beautiful Sol family here 🌿

House of Plenty does not have regular weekly open hours right now. I post same-day openings and times whenever I’m in the space.

If you’re planning to stop by, please check the SolBloom Collective page or the Discord shop updates channel first so you don’t arrive when the space is closed.

Outside of posted hours, I can sometimes coordinate short visits by appointment if I’m already in the space organizing, and in some cases I may be able to help arrange transportation with a little planning ahead.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as this community exchange continues to grow 💚

I’m honestly sitting here tearing up writing this.

There’s an anonymous donor who has been quietly supporting House of Plenty since the very beginning. Helping me keep this space open, helping purchase clothing racks, shelving, totes, organizational pieces, and even contributing toward rent so this community exchange could continue to exist.

Most recently, they made it possible for us to bring in multiple clothing racks, Z-racks, and shoe shelving from the Saks Fifth Avenue Polaris closure, and it’s already transforming what we’re able to do inside the space.

Support like this is the reason House of Plenty is still here.

To this person and to everyone who has donated items, contributed funds, shared posts, volunteered time, helped move furniture, or simply believed in what I’m building. I am so deeply grateful. Truly.

Support like this also reminds me how powerful consistent, behind-the-scenes giving can be. If anyone has ever felt called to support the space in that way, it truly makes a lasting difference here.

is officially a 501(c)(3) since Late February and I’ll be applying for grants to help sustain and grow this work moving forward. If you know of opportunities or would like to be part of supporting this space, I would love to connect.

This community is what keeps House of Plenty alive. 🌿
