House of Plenty: BEFORE ➡️ AFTER 🥹🌱

Three days of moving. Three days of hauling, organizing, rearranging, cleaning, and trying to figure out how to fit what once filled a much larger space into our new temporary home.

And THIS is the progress in just one of our two rooms. 🙌🏽

We are nowhere near finished yet. This room isn’t even stocked with donations! We still have two more storage units filled with donations, shelving, and supplies that need to be brought over. I also have shelving to put together and a whole lot more organizing to do before House of Plenty is ready to fully function again.

Right now, the goal is simply to take everything we have and make this smaller space work—turning what used to take up so much more room into something organized, accessible, and still able to serve our community. 💚

I also want to say this because I know I have A LOT of unanswered messages right now: I have not forgotten about you. ❤️

I have barely been able to get to my messages over the last few days. I am extremely overwhelmed and have pretty much been moving nonstop for three days. If you’ve reached out to me about donations, needing items, volunteering, helping, or anything else, please give me a little grace while I get through everything. I WILL get back to you.

House of Plenty may look a little different right now, but we’re still here. 🌱

Today’s organization project at House of Plenty 🙌🏽👕👖

I spent some time today getting all of our men’s clothing sorted and organized, and this is what we’re working with! I’m about to start bagging everything by size so it’s easier to get these items into the hands of the men who need them.

Right now, we have primarily Small, Medium & Large, with some XL, 2X and 3X+ available as well.

If you are a man in need of clothing, please reach out to me directly. If you know someone who could benefit, please send him my way or share this post with him. 🤎

Everything provided through House of Plenty Community Exchange is completely FREE.

With everything currently being organized and packed up, my goal is to get as much of this clothing out into the community as possible instead of having to move and store it all.

424 ITEMS OUT THE DOOR TODAY! 🥹❤️

Today, House of Plenty served 8 individuals/families, who took home a combined 424 clothing + household items! Some needed a little, some needed a lot — and that’s exactly what this space is here for. 🫶🏽

We’re working to get as much as possible into the hands of people who need it ASAP as we’re being forced to move out of our current space. (Story time on that coming VERY soon. 😅)

This was just one of the families I had the opportunity to serve today through House of Plenty. They happened to leave with one of the larger loads, but everyone who came through was able to leave with a good amount of things they needed.

Altogether, I served 6 individuals/their families today, some came alone, some brought their children or other family members with them and every appointment looked a little different.

Clothes, household items, toys, little things that make a new place feel more like home… things that may be sitting unused somewhere else but can genuinely make a difference for another family.

This is why I keep doing this. Even while House of Plenty is in a season of transition, the mission hasn’t stopped. The need hasn’t stopped. And as long as I have resources to give, I’m going to keep finding ways to get them into the hands of people who need them.

Thank you to every single person who has donated, shared a post, volunteered, given financially, or simply helped spread the word. This is where those donations go. 🫶🏽

FREE Clothing, Household Items & More (By Appointment)

I’m looking to get these items into the hands of people who can use them. Everything is FREE.

Available:

* Men’s clothing (Small, Medium, Large & XL)
* Women’s clothing (Small through 4X)
* Bedding
* Plastic, wire, and wooden hangers
* Glassware (vases, bowls, candle holders, and more)
* Boxes of household items
* Children’s books
* Some children’s toys

Please note: The clothing bags shown are sorted by size for organization only, they are not grab-and-go bags. During your appointment, you’re welcome to browse and pick out the individual items you’d like.

Because I don’t have regular open hours, shopping is by appointment only. I’ll be scheduling appointments throughout next week. If you have an urgent need before then, please send me a message, and I’ll do my best to accommodate you.

Need clothes or household items? We’ve got you. 💛

If you’re currently transitioning, starting over, between jobs, leaving a difficult situation, experiencing homelessness, or simply trying to make ends meet, we want you to know this event is for you.

This Sunday, House of Plenty will have hundreds of clothing items, shoes, household essentials, and more available through our donation-based Community Exchange.

If you can donate, your contribution helps us continue serving others. If you can’t, that’s okay. Payment is never expected. Our goal is to make sure people leave with what they need, not to turn anyone away because of money.

House of Plenty – Community Exchange is a dignity-based resource space where you can choose clothing, kids’ items, toys, household goods, and small furniture through a pay-what-you-can model (never expected).

If you don’t have anything to give right now, please still stop by, that’s exactly what this space is here for. I would truly love to see these shelves cleared and items going to people who can use them.
