🌟Staff Spotlight🌟 Lisa Morgan has been with Columbus Hospice for 16 years. She is the RN Director for Alabama Home Care and On Call. When asked about why she loves her role she said, "I began my journey with Columbus Hospice as a Home Care RN. It is such an honor to be able to provide care to someone during this phase of their life. I am a hospice nurse because the end of life is just as important as the beginning. And I have the privilege of sharing that journey with our patients and their families. For people that think hospice is only about death and dying, I want them to know it is so much more. We help our patients make the most of the time they have left. We provide symptom management to make them as comfortable as possible for as long as possible. That support is also provided to the family. We provide education and resources to aid the family that is caring for their loved one. I love my work family as well. This is a great place to work! One of the other great perks of the job is that we get to bring our fur babies to the office! If you or someone you know could benefit from hospice care, please give us a call." We are so grateful for Lisa and everything she does to provide the best care to our patients!!
