Christine has extensive experience in massage and body treatments and has worked with a wide range of clientele and ailments including arthritis, chronic muscle pain, stress, headaches, MS, fibromyalgia, Parkinson's, carpal tunnel syndrome and sciatica. She has also worked closely with athletes, including marathoners, triathletes, tennis players, yogis and golfers and has helped ease the pressures of pregnancy for many women. In 2009, Christine joined the team at Integrative Healing Center and began working with cancer patients in all stages of treatment. Christine has been a certified La Stone (Hot Stone) Massage practitioner since 1999. Christine is also certified in Advanced Pregnancy Massage, Oncology Massage, Mastectomy Massage, Northern Thai Massage, Percussive Therapy (Theragun) and Decompression (Cupping) Therapy. Christine is also a Reiki Master and 200 hr trained Yoga Teacher. She is the Lead Massage Therapist at Hand and Stone in Commack NY.

I plant vegetables, herbs and flowers every year! Getting your hands in the soil is one of the healthiest things you can do. It literally grounds you, relieves stress and focuses the mind. Anytime spent outside is wonderful for your health. Gardening has the added benefit of growing your own food! Nothing compares to the flavor of a home grown tomato.

Yes, there are gardening challenges. Sometimes insects and animals can hurt our plants. I use natural pest control like hot pepper flakes to deter squirrels. Planting marigolds near tomatoes also keeps pests away. Watching my plants grow is so satisfying. There's nothing better than going in my yard, picking something to eat or gazing at beautiful flowers. Happy gardening!!

I joined the blue shirt club!! I recently earned my Elite Therapist status with Hand & Stone. I took every course H&S offers on their continuing education site. I have an upgrade rate over 50% and rebook rate over 40%. I'm the Lead Therapist at my Spa and have been a working LMT for 28 years! (I took some time off after the birth of my son.)

I continue to love Massage Therapy. Every day I help people feel better and that's not a small thing. I love educating myself and others about the benefits of massage and the wonderful upgrades we offer. I'm a Hot Stone specialist, having trained in the original La Stone Massage in 1999 when I worked at Estee Lauder Spa.

I love learning and am happy to offer specialty therapies at H&S including: Oncology, Prenatal, Himalayan Salt Stone, Theragun, Gliding Cupping, Aromatherapy and CBD oil. A massage can effectively reduce pain or discomfort, provide calming and relaxation, reduce muscle tension and improve muscle recovery.

I've also recently completed my Reiki Master Teacher Training. Stay tuned for updates on Reiki classes and circles, hopefully by the fall.
