Here’s a test I look at when looking at getting athletes running and jumping again after an achilles tendon rupture.

You need good strength and control on 1 leg to perform in sport - the single leg squat looks at both in a simple, quick assessment.

➡️ Do you have good control/balance?
➡️ Do you have adaquate mobility in ankle?
➡️ Do you have enough strength in the leg?
