TODAY is the LAST DAY to register for Kids Camp! Campers will enjoy swimming, archery, campfires, and friendships with other kids who know life with type 1 diabetes.

Behind all the fun, your camper is cared for by a team of more than 15 healthcare professionals, including endocrinologists, nurses, dietitians, and diabetes educators, led by our Medical Director Dr. Justin Altschuler. Campers are also cared for by an amazing group of counselors. Many grew up attending DYF camps themselves and live with type 1 diabetes. So they get a real summer, and you get peace of mind.

Scholarships are available! Financial assistance is available for qualifying families throughout California. We currently have special funding available for families from Yolo, Solano, and Central Valley counties, but families from all counties are encouraged to apply. If finances are a concern, please reach out!

Wednesday, June 17th is the LAST DAY to register for Kids Camp! Kids Camp offers a safe, comfortable, and fun away-from-home experience for kids with T1D! They'll enjoy classic camp experiences like swimming, archery, arts & crafts, games, dances, campfires and more with diabetes education woven throughout!

We never want cost to be the reason a child misses camp. Financial assistance is available for qualifying families throughout California, with special funding right now for families in Yolo, Solano, and Central Valley counties but families from every county are encouraged to apply! Transportation is also available for our independent camp programs across Northern and Central California, and scholarships can help cover those costs too. If finances are a concern, please reach out. We want to help your child have their summer at camp!

Adult Retreat weekend will re-invigorate you, connect you with other T1D adults, and allow you to brush up your diabetes management skills or learn new things.

Mornings are spent on important topics such as pregnancy with diabetes, drugs & alcohol, new technology, and everything in between. Afternoons and evenings are spent enjoying nearby Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks, participating in traditional camp activities, and enjoying group meals together.

Expect to be in a space of camaraderie, support, education, and fun for adults (18+) with type 1 diabetes. Support systems like parents, partners, family, and friends are welcome!
