Happy National Midwifery Week to our very own Carly Waller, CNM! 💜

Carly has spent years championing women, advocating for mothers, and protecting their right to be heard, respected, and fully informed in their birth experiences. From the hospital, to the birth center, and now into the sacred spaces of families’ homes, her commitment to maternal autonomy has remained at the heart of her work.

She is a midwife of YHWH, doing the Lord’s work with her hands, her knowledge, her heart, and her faith. She serves families with clinical wisdom while never losing sight of the fact that birth is sacred and every mother deserves to have a voice in her care.

Carly, we honor the hard work, sacrifice, long nights, prayers, advocacy, and love you pour into this calling. New Eden is a reflection of your obedience to what God placed on your heart.

Tiny toes, BIG blessings. 💜👣

Last week was extra special for us at New Eden. There was something so precious and beautifully full-circle about New Eden welcoming not one, but TWO little babies named Eden into the world: one sweet baby boy and one precious baby girl. 🩵🩷

Two sets of tiny feet. Two beautiful birth stories. Two families forever changed. And two little Edens who made their entrance with New Eden there to witness it. What a sweet reminder of just how sacred this work truly is.

🩸 From Prevention to Response: Hemorrhage Management

Created for Birth Assistants, Student Midwives, Midwives, and Nurses who want to strengthen their skills and be better prepared to serve families when it matters most.

🩸 Hemorrhage Management
We’ll cover recognition, prevention, response, hemorrhage kits, medications, and live visual demonstrations using a birth pool and weighing chux pads to better understand blood loss.

🚑 Emergency Preparedness
Strengthen your preparedness for maternal and fetal emergencies through practical discussion and application.

🌿 Herbal & Medicinal Usage
Take a deeper look at herbal remedies and pharmaceutical medications used in hemorrhage prevention and management, including safe dosing, administration, and practical application.

We’ll begin our day with brunch, worship, and Christian fellowship before moving into our hands-on Skills & Drills session.

October is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month. 💜🕊️

This month, we intentionally bring awareness to pregnancy and infant loss as we honor the mothers, babies, families, and siblings who have experienced the loss of a precious life.

We lift you up in prayer. We offer encouragement. We hold space for your grief, your memories, your questions, and your healing.

Our prayer is that God would grant you a peace that surpasses all understanding, that He would restore and strengthen mothers’ bodies, bring healing to wounded hearts, and surround families with comfort and support.

To every mother who has experienced loss:
You are not alone.
You have a voice.
Your baby has a name.
Your baby has a place in Heaven.
Your baby is loved.
Your story matters.

We honor you, and we honor them. Your baby may not be in your arms, but the love you carry for them will always have a place.

May you feel seen. May you feel supported. May you feel the presence of God in the places where grief feels the heaviest.
