Tracy is the kind of teammate who is always ready to jump in, lend a hand, and go above and beyond for the people around her. And if you ask her residents, they’ll tell you there’s another reason she’s so special — that smile and positive attitude are pretty hard to beat! 😊

Whether she’s supporting her fellow staff members or brightening a resident’s day, Tracy brings kindness, compassion, and plenty of positivity wherever she goes.

Thursday was all about squeezing every last drop of fun out of summer at our End of Summer Carnival! 🌞

Our residents and staff enjoyed games, treats, laughs, and plenty of good old-fashioned carnival fun. There may not have been a Ferris wheel, but we still managed to have a really good time! 😉

🏅 Harris Hill Takes on the Senior Olympics! 🏅

Yesterday, Deane, Denise, and Ed represented Harris Hill Center at the 2026 Senior Olympics at Applewood Center — and they brought their A-game! 💪🎉

From competition to camaraderie, our residents had a fantastic time getting out there, having some fun, and showing everyone what Harris Hill is made of.

And a special congratulations to Denise and Ed, who teamed up for the Name That Tune competition and brought home the SILVER MEDAL! 🥈🎶

We couldn't be prouder of our Olympic squad! Way to go, Deane, Denise, and Ed! 👏❤️

Last week, we gathered to say a very bittersweet goodbye to our Skin Health Nurse, Torrey. 💙

Torrey has been a familiar face around Harris Hill, bringing her knowledge, compassion, and plenty of dedication to the residents and team she cared for.

While we’re definitely going to miss having her around, we’re so grateful for everything she has done for Harris Hill and the people who call it home.

Thank you for everything, Torrey — and don’t be a stranger! 🥹💙

🧀🍹 Apparently, we found the secret formula for a packed house at Harris Hill: cheese + mocktails! 😂

Our Mocktail & Cheese Tasting Social was a HUGE hit today, with an incredible turnout and a room full of residents enjoying delicious bites, fancy sips, and plenty of good conversation. 🥂🧀

We’re pretty sure we’ve discovered a new Harris Hill rule: if there’s cheese involved, you’d better bring extra chairs. 😂❤️

Sunshine, fresh air, good company, and live music—sounds like a pretty perfect afternoon to us! 🎶☀️

A big thank you to Brian Henderson for joining us and putting on a wonderful outdoor concert for our residents. The patio was the place to be today, and our residents certainly enjoyed every minute!

After 39 incredible years at Harris Hill, it was finally time to celebrate Diane and her well-earned retirement! 🎉❤️

Over nearly four decades, Diane has worn many hats — starting as an LNA, becoming a Med Tech, and eventually serving as our Medical Records and Supply Coordinator. Through every role, she has been an important part of the Harris Hill family and has made a lasting impact on countless residents and coworkers along the way.

We celebrated Diane with a barbecue, plenty of laughs, a special plaque from Genesis, and an absolutely beautiful quilt handmade by our very own Mary, with squares signed by staff and residents who wanted to send Diane off with a little piece of Harris Hill. ❤️

Congratulations, Diane! Thank you for 39 years of dedication, hard work, and memories. You will be missed more than you know — but we think you’ve definitely earned the right to finally stop coming to work! 😉 Enjoy every minute of your retirement!

Breaking news from Harris Hill: the garden is thriving. 🌱🌸

Our Resident Garden Club has been hard at work tending to their little corner of Harris Hill, and apparently they take their gardening responsibilities VERY seriously. 😉 Brooke, our recreation director, along with our administrator Kalie and scheduling and payroll manager Jessica, are proud to show off their progress!

There’s nothing better than watching something grow because of a little sunshine, a little teamwork, and a whole lot of love. 💚
