Join us for a festive weekend of creative play, a celebration of the luminous blue world of cyanotype, and a radiant gathering of art-making, experimentation, and botanical wonder.
This is not simply a workshop. It is a creative retreat, a printmaking feast, and a joyful deep dive into one of photography’s oldest and most magical processes
Across two full days we will transform paper, cloth, found objects, and gathered botanicals into radiant Prussian blue prints using summer light, water, and imagination. Expect an experience full of curiosity, abundance, experimentation, and creative immersion.
Throughout the weekend we’ll work with botanical printing, layered compositions, cloth, lace, transparencies, toning techniques, unexpected color shifts, large collaborative prints, and playful experimental processes that push cyanotype beyond the traditional print.
Bring your favorite leaves, feathers, letters, heirlooms, scraps, poems, negatives, pressed flowers, and mysterious little things. The more curious your collection, the more magical the results.
Throughout the weekend our world will become a temporary blue one— part laboratory, part garden, part print studio, part summer festival. There will be drying prints hanging everywhere, stained fingertips, conversations about light and memory, and the deep satisfaction of making things slowly by hand.
Whether you are brand new to cyanotype or already in love with the process, this extravaganza is designed to nourish experimentation, deepen technique, and rekindle creative wonder.
Come ready to make a glorious mess.
Come ready to gather light.
Come ready to leave with an armful of blue treasures.
