🩺 WE’RE HIRING — MEDICAL ASSISTANT!
Natural State Foot & Ankle Clinic is looking for a dependable, motivated Medical Assistant to join our team!
We are seeking someone who is organized, compassionate, works well in a fast-paced clinical environment, and is willing to learn the specialized skills involved in podiatric care.
👣 Responsibilities Include:
• Rooming patients and preparing them for examination
• Cleaning, preparing, and restocking exam rooms
• Assisting the physician with in-office procedures
• Cleaning, sterilizing, and maintaining instruments
• Assisting with wound care and dressing changes
• Assisting with nail and routine foot care procedures
• Applying and removing splints, braces, and other DME
• Assisting with orthotics and other podiatric devices
• Taking X-rays and assisting with diagnostic testing as permitted by training/certification
• Maintaining accurate patient documentation and medical records
• Assisting with prior authorizations, referrals, and other patient-care follow-up
• Maintaining clinical inventory and supplies
• Helping keep the clinical area clean, organized, and ready for patient care
• Working closely with the physician and other team members to keep patient flow running smoothly
⭐ We’re Looking for Someone Who:
Is reliable, professional, detail-oriented, and a team player. The ideal candidate is comfortable working directly with patients and isn't afraid to stay busy. Strong communication skills and the ability to follow through on assigned tasks are a must.
Previous medical assistant experience is preferred. Podiatry experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
