🤍World Mental Health Day 🤍feels like the perfect time to reintroduce myself & share why I do what I do.
Did you know that the lymphatic system is closely connected to the brain, nervous system, and overall wellbeing? ALT can support fluid movement and circulation while encouraging relaxation to help the body shift out of that constant “fight or flight” state.
This is how I found ALT, and over time, it became part of a much bigger healing journey for me.
I started as a client. I was struggling with my physical and mental health. I was navigating the debilitating grief of losing my husband, along with anxiety and ADHD- that I had had my whole life. I was overwhelmed and on more medications than I wanted to be.
Receiving ALT helped me process grief I had been unable to release, my anxiety and depression became more manageable, and I was eventually able to come off my medications, including Adderall. I also experienced the many other health benefits. It took time, therapy, and a team of physicians and practitioners.
ALT isn’t a quick fix or replacement for therapy, medical care, or medication. However, It can be one piece of a bigger picture…& for me, it was the piece that changed the direction of my life.
I started Lymph and Latitude because I knew what it felt like to be the person lying on that table.
The person who was exhausted mentally.
The person who was sick and didn’t know why.
The person who desperately wanted to feel better without taking another pill.
The person that just needed a break from the world.
ALT helped me change that & I wanted to be able to give other people the kind of space, support, and care that became so meaningful to me.
Two years later, I’m still incredibly thankful that I received first… because that journey brought me here to be there for others on their own journeys.
Happy World Mental Health Day.
Take care of your mind. Take care of your body. & NEVER be afraid to ask for help.
