β˜€οΈπŸŽ„ EVENT UPDATE! Please read for an update regarding our Christmas in July Fundraiser on Saturday, 7/25! πŸŽ„β˜€οΈ
As we count down the days to our Christmas in July Market at Summit ArtSpace, we have a quick logistics update to share. Due to unexpected venue policy changes, alcohol will no longer be served at the event.

While we know some were looking forward to a festive beverage, we are pivoting in true CYOP style! To thank you for your incredible flexibility and support, we've made a couple of exciting updates:
🍹 Festive Mocktails: Your event ticket will now include delicious, refreshing holiday mocktails alongside our light bites and snacks!
🎟️ $10 Tickets are staying! We have officially cancelled our planned price increase. Tickets will remain at the $10 early bird donation rate right up until the event (instead of increasing to $15 on July 10th)!

We are so excited for the amazing afternoon we still have planned: 15 local Q***r-owned & aligned vendors to shop from, competitive Q***r Trivia, a silent auction, and a 50/50 raffle!

Most importantly, every single ticket continues to fund our sliding fee scale, expanding access to inclusive, affirming mental health care in our community when people need it most.

πŸ‘‰ Grab your crew and lock in your $10 tickets today! ➑️ https://sbee.link/kpycja46fu

This Fourth of July, our hearts are focused on the ultimate building blocks of community healing: family, connection, and collective joy.

We know that for many in our community, this holiday brings up complex reflections regarding our nation's history, systemic inequities, and the long path toward real justice for all. At Carve Your Own Path, we believe that honoring our community means holding space for the full truth of our experiences while actively committing to keeping our neighbors safe, healthy, and whole.

True liberty isn't just a date on a calendar; it is the lived reality of feeling safe, supported, and valued exactly as you are. Healing doesn't just happen in quiet reflection; it happens when we gather with family, share meals with neighbors, laugh together, and allow ourselves to experience genuine joy.
Prioritizing time with the people who anchor us is how we replenish our cups and strengthen the fabric of our neighborhoods.

Whether you are spending the weekend at a local park, gathering around a backyard table with loved ones, or simply enjoying a quiet moment in nature, we hope your weekend is filled with connection and warmth. Let us continue to carve out paths of joy, rest, and equity for our families and neighbors.

🌱 Note: If you or a loved one are experiencing an immediate mental health crisis this weekend, please remember that professional, confidential support is available 24/7 by calling or texting 988.

We have some wonderful news to share with our Summit County community! 🌟

Our team at Carve Your Own Path has officially kicked off our specialized training series for Summit County's local op**te abatement workforce. We have just wrapped up our first three sessions, and the energy, vulnerability, and dedication brought by local professionals has been incredibly inspiring.

This vital initiative is made possible by a gracious grant from the Akron Community Foundation's Summit County Opioid Healing Fund. Because of their support, we are able to provide local human services and behavioral health workers with fully funded, advanced education in trauma-informed frameworks and holistic wellness practices.

By pouring into the amazing people who show up on the front lines for our community every day, we help create a safer, healthier, and more supportive environment for everyone. A massive thank you to the Akron Community Foundation ( Community Foundation )for partnering with us to champion our local workforce!

Are you a local social worker, counselor, or community professional looking for meaningful continuing education? We would love to have you in the room for our next session.
