As a Doctors HealthCare Plans member, your plan covers bone mass measurements for those who qualify, typically individuals at risk of bone loss or osteoporosis. These exams, which help detect bone loss and assess bone quality, are covered every 24 months or more often if medically necessary, and include a physician’s interpretation of the results.
