🇦🇲🇦🇷 Strengthening Armenia - Argentina cooperation in healthcare!

Argentina’s Ambassador to Armenia, Rafael E. González Alemán, hosted our FIDEC Armenia team - Narine Hayrapetyan, Dr. Marianna Hakobyan, Dr. Pablo Elmassian, and representatives of two major Armenian pediatric hospitals - Dr. Ara Babloyan of Arabkir Medical Center, and Dr. Hovhannes Zohrabyan and David Sargsyan of Sourb Astvatsamayr Medical Center.

We discussed reviving the medical second opinion program with Argentina’s Hospital Garrahan, a national reference center for complex pediatric care. The program was established in 2019 under FIDEC Armenia’s leadership and coordination, with the Embassy’s support.

The parties agreed to broaden cooperation to include professional exchanges, medical education, and conferences in pediatrics, while exploring further opportunities for bilateral healthcare collaboration.
