💜 HELP IS HERE. YOU ARE NOT ALONE. 💜
Domestic violence doesn’t always end when the relationship ends. For many survivors, the effects can linger for months or even years in the form of anxiety, depression, nightmares, flashbacks, difficulty trusting others, and a constant sense of fear or unease.
Recent events in our community have been a heartbreaking reminder that violence, trauma, and emotional pain can affect anyone. While we cannot change what has happened, we can remind those who may be suffering in silence that support is available and that there is hope.
If you are living in fear, recovering from abuse, struggling with trauma, or simply feeling overwhelmed, please know that reaching out for help is a sign of strength, not weakness.
At Jaynes Family Practice, our Mental Health Team provides compassionate, trauma-informed care, including EMDR therapy and other evidence-based treatments designed to help individuals heal, process trauma, and regain a sense of safety and control.
📞 If you are in immediate danger, call 911.
📞 If you are experiencing emotional distress or thoughts of self-harm, call or text 988.
