Last night the Lady Cats played a hard fought game and are getting better each game.

Our West Knox Pharmacy Halftime shooters were Hunter Hollin and Ken Lee Hubbs. Hollin hit a half court shot and was a winner of a $50. Kenlee was close but didnt hit it this time. They both received a T-Shirt from West Knox Pharmacy.

Thank you to Lynn Camp Middle/High School for letting us serve you and to our church members, Kevin M. Smith and Joyce Hubbard Smith for representing our church.

KCEOC CAP is now accepting applications for the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) Crisis Component.

Applications will be accepted starting January 6- March 27, 2026 or until designated funds are depleted. Applications are provided on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Crisis benefits will cover the minimum needed to alleviate the crisis not to exceed the local cost for a deliverable supply of the household's primary heating fuel or $400 for gas or electric. Households can reapply each time they experience a crisis situation until they reach their maximum benefit. Income eligibility for the program is up to and including 150% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines. Benefits are paid directly to the fuel vendor.

Applicants must bring the following:

1. Proof of Social Security Number or Permanent Residence card (Green Card) for each member of the household

2. Proof of all household’s (all members) income from the preceding month.

3. Most current heating bill, statement from your landlord if heating expenses are included in your rent,
statement from the utility company if you participate in a Pre-Pay Electric Program.

4. The account number and name on the account for main heating fuel sources and electric bill.

In addition, in the Crisis component, applicants requesting assistance for natural gas or electric must bring a disconnect/past due notice (example: past due notice, termination notice, final notice, or utility arrearage payment plan balance). If your rent includes heat, you must bring a copy of your lease and eviction notice. Applicants who participate in a Pre-Pay Electric Program
must bring a statement from the utility company that shows they have 10 days or less of pre-paid electric service.

For further application details and eligibility requirements or to make an appointment, please contact LIHEAP staff at (606)-595-8062.
