✨ SLP Spotlight ✨
Meet Darrian Krause, CCC-SLP
Darrian serves at our Vienna clinic and has been an SLP for 6 years, including the past 2.5 years with FYZICAL. Her journey into speech therapy began through the help of Google and a family friend while searching for a career that combined her love for working with children and her interest in the medical field. After completing observations in speech therapy, she quickly fell in love with the diversity of the profession and the opportunity to work with patients of all ages across a variety of settings. Throughout her career, Darrian has worked in school systems, hospitals, and clinic settings — and has enjoyed every one of them! 💙
One of Darrian’s favorite parts of her job is watching patients make meaningful and functional progress, whether that’s a young child saying their first words, an older child mastering speech sounds, or an adult regaining communication and swallowing skills needed for daily life, work, and hobbies. She loves being part of each patient’s journey and celebrating those milestones alongside them.
While she enjoys working with all ages, she has a special passion for school-age speech sound disorders and adult dysphagia (swallowing disorders).
🏈 Fun fact: Darrian has a goal to attend a football game at every SEC school — with 7 down and 9 to go!
✨ Favorite quote: “Every day may not be good, but there is something good in every day.” — Alicia Morse Earle
We are grateful for the positivity, knowledge, and heart Darrian brings to our team and to every patient she serves. 🌟
