Wild Womb LLC

Wild Womb LLC Here we talk about all things uterus. It was my previous career as a Fire Fighter/ AEMT where I found my two loves: services to others and labor and delivery.

Whether it's my personal experiences or discussing important information related to pregnancy, birth, menstruation, healthcare, and personal empowerment. I then moved from the field to working as a surgical/labor tech in hospital, on labor and delivery. Now I use my knowledge and experience to create content to educate and empower people through pregnancy, labor, birth and postpartum.

Being a birth worker goes beyond supporting families through pregnancy and birth. It’s about consistently educating ourselves on human rights, standing in solidarity with those whose experiences may be vastly different from our own, and doing the inner work to confront and understand our privilege. This journey demands more than empathy—it requires action, humility, and a commitment to learning about realities we may never personally face. If we aren’t actively examining ourselves and working to understand the experiences and rights of others, we aren’t doing enough. Let’s rise to the call and continue the work, together. 🌈

Throwback to a day before I gave birth to Mila. I was at 208 pounds—up 78 pounds from my pre-pregnancy weight. At 11 months postpartum, I was around 140 pounds. Currently, I’m pregnant again and at 173 pounds with a few months left until we meet our newest little love.

So often, we hear that gaining 30 pounds is the ‘ideal’ during pregnancy, but it’s just an average. Every journey is unique, and it’s perfectly normal—and healthy—to gain more or less.

Our bodies are literally creating life from scratch. Let’s celebrate that magic, honor our strength, and reject the pressure to ‘bounce back’ or fit into someone else’s idea of ‘normal.’ We are powerful, beautiful, and strong. ❤️

✨ The benefits of delayed cord clamping (DCC) are incredible! Waiting just a few minutes after birth can:

• Boost iron levels for months
• Increase blood volume by up to a third
• Support preemies by stabilizing blood pressure and circulation
• Transfer stem cells that aid development and healing

To take the guesswork out of DCC, I request that providers do not cut the cord until after the placenta delivers and I see the cord is white. This simple choice can support a healthier start for our little ones! 🌱
