If you’re working with a community midwife in early pregnancy, you may still need medical support for certain things along the way.

Progesterone is one example.

Some women need progesterone support in early pregnancy. It’s not for every pregnancy, and it does not prevent all miscarriage.

In Texas, a licensed midwife can’t prescribe progesterone. When it’s clinically indicated, I can work alongside your midwife to provide the order, medical oversight, and appropriate follow-up.

This doesn’t replace your midwife relationship. It supports it.

If you or your midwife need medical management alongside midwifery care, reach out. Collaborative care can be thoughtful, clear, and centered on you.

I’ve had people reach out for appointments the past few months so I wanted to make a post. I am no longer located in Corpus Christi and currently not practicing but I do have some amazing therapists to recommend!
•If you are needing abdominal work, Susan Sparks at Chiron Holistic, LLC is certified to do that along with overall therapeutic massage.

•Needing prenatal/postpartum massage? Amanda Gomez LMT is your gal!
•If you like going to Massage Center, Cuba, Sienna, or Anthony are great choices.
