I received my B.A. from Ouachita Baptist University. in Health Science was obtained from the University of Arkansas and my BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) from Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi. I am currently working on my PhD in Health Promotion and Wellness at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions. I have worked as a Registered Nurse for 6 years at the hospital and teaching for 10 years in the Health & Kinesiology Department at Texas A&M University - Kingsville. I am a member of the American Holistic Nurses Association and American Nurses Association and attend conferences yearly.
