Doula Things with Mel is entering a new chapter and we are BACK! 🤍

Over the past few years, life has taken me on a journey I never expected. Being diagnosed with a brain tumor while pregnant, navigating seizures, and learning to prioritize my health challenged me in ways I couldn’t have imagined. Those experiences changed my perspective; not my passion.

Birth work has always been my calling, but I’ve learned that making an impact doesn’t always mean being at every birth. Sometimes it means creating opportunities, building community, and supporting the people who support families.

Today, Doula Things with Mel is growing into an agency dedicated to expanding access to quality perinatal support while helping independent doulas build sustainable businesses.

We’re now offering:
✨ Virtual childbirth education
✨ Virtual pregnancy and postpartum support
✨ Administrative support for independent doulas
✨ Client communication and scheduling
✨ Networking opportunities and professional collaboration
✨ Referrals through our partnerships with OB-GYN practices across the country (and not just this country.) WE’VE EXPANDED TO MÉXICO 🇲🇽

My role has evolved alongside this vision. While I’ll always have a heart for serving families, my focus is now on community building and leading Doula Things with Mel as its Executive Director. I’m also honored to support a growing doula agency in New York and continue training the next generation of birth professionals virtually through CAPPA International.

One of the milestones I’m most excited to share is that we’ve officially hired our first doula! This is a huge step forward, and I can’t wait for you to meet her.

We’re also growing our team.

Our goal isn’t to replace your business; it’s to strengthen it so you can focus on what matters most: caring for families.
