👉 Alters brain functioning, control, and judgement and leads to cravings due to its interaction in the dopamine-reward-pathway
👉Impacts leading to malnutrition, malabsorption, and nutritional deficiencies often related to changes in eating patterns including eating less nutrient dense foods/preference for “sweet”

Don’t forget that even EZ rides, AKA zone 1-2, MFZ (max fat zone), or even if your swinging a short 75-90 min ride, your body is still burning 🔥 carbohydrates. And for those of you who prefer to train , here’s something to think about 🤔 - during sleep, the body burns the most amount of calories in a 24-hr period…and if you’re keto-adapted, the body still burns carbohydrates. So, offer your body some *energy*. Even for those 90-min EZ rides or if you're sprinkling some threshold intensity, feed it some carbohydrates - the muscles preferred fuel source (not to mention ATP). 30-60g carb/hr. Everybody’s energy needs are different. Curious to know how much energy (fats to carbs) your body burns and at what intensity (power or pace)? Contact my good friends over at .EPTC for testing and then I’ll pair your test up with the proper specific nutrition. Oh…and really watch out for those simple sugars during training (candy, pastry)…keep them modified with products like so we can keep your gut clean, balanced, healthy, and happy!
