’Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the halls,
Not a guest was stirring, not even the calls.
The stockings were hung through the house with care,
In hopes that warm comfort would continue to fill the air.

The guests were all nestled, their worries at bay,
While visions of healing danced gently their way.
And staff throughout the house, with smiles so bright,
While the holiday lights flickered off, for the night.

Through the quiet halls, kindness did flow,
Mario Pastega House glowed with a soft, gentle glow.
For here, every moment is wrapped up in grace,
A haven of hope, a warm-hearted place.

So when morning arrives with its bright Christmas cheer,
May peace and good health bless all who stay here.

Winter is here! Or rather the rain... it's time to pull out those cozy mittens, grab a big ole' mug of hot cocoa or... an umbrella and maybe even a canoe at this point! Get ready to celebrate with us. The Mario Pastega House turns 21 today!!

And we couldn't let the day go by without saying a big and heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who makes this house a home.

To our amazing volunteers, dedicated team members both at the house and at various departments/hospitals, and incredibly generous donors. Thank you for keeping the lights on, the pantries full, the pillows fluffy and the hearts warm.

A very special shoutout to our guests both past and present. Every single one of you brings your own story, your own spirit, and yes... your own inside jokes that our team will never forget (you know who you are 😅 ).

Here's to 21 incredible years of compassion, comfort, and community; and to many more ahead! We're so proud to serve you and let's keep doing it, together!
