We hold dear small-town charm and good food. Lunch at the Whistle Stop was a given, with fried green tomatoes and homemade pie bookending the meal. Afterwards, we browsed shops nearby, making for a satisfying day.

Last evenings tea The Old Capitol Tea Room was simply the cat’s meow. So many flapper dolls and swanky gents under one roof was spiffy. While guests sipped tea and beat one’s gums the live jazz was ducky! Of course, we started off the evening with mock bootleg and delicious pots of piping hot tea. The Ketterman’s are truly live wires and extremely talented. Thank for a great evening and we didn’t have to drop a lot of dough to do it!
