Harrison Springs has the best employees!

This week, we celebrated our employees and showed them some extra appreciation in honor of our Employee Satisfaction Survey. From fueling the fabulous with energy drinks, new Trilogy T-shirts, employee car wash to dippin dots, we wanted to show how much they truly mean to our campus and how much of a difference each department makes.

🌟 August Oh’ Great One 🌟

Please assist us in congratulating our August OGO winner, Maria! Maria is one of our environmental service assistants here at our campus. She goes above and beyond to ensure our campus is kept clean and safe for our residents and staff!

Maria has the best attitude and is the definition of a team player. She is always willing to jump in on any tasks. Maria has not been with our campus for long but you would think she has been with us since day 1! She is dedicated, loving and kind to all those around her.

Creativity was flowing at our monthly Card Class! Our Independent Living residents enjoyed spending time with Laura while creating beautiful handmade cards. There’s nothing better than a card made with a little creativity and a lot of heart! 💕

🍦☀️ Ice cream tastes even sweeter when it’s delivered right to your patio!

We cruised around in our golf cart ice cream truck, dressed in our sweetest ice cream costume, delivering treats to our Independent Living residents. Nothing says summertime quite like sunshine, good company, and an ice cream delivery! 💕🍨

On August 21st, we celebrated National Dreams Are Possible Day by granting Alice's Live A Dream to visit Australia. We ventured to Kentucky Down Under! Kangaroos, emus, and lorikeets made her feel like she had trekked to the Land Down Under 🦘🇦🇺🦜

Fresh flowers + a little creativity = the perfect afternoon! 🌸 Our Independent Living residents enjoyed crafting beautiful clay cutouts, decoupaged with decorative napkins and finished with fresh flowers. Each one turned out uniquely beautiful!

🌺 Aloha from Happy Hour! 🌴🍹
Our Independent Living residents enjoyed a tropical escape with refreshing piña coladas, Hawaiian meatballs, fruit kabobs, chocolate-dipped pretzels, colorful leis, fun tattoos, and wonderful entertainment! 🌺🎶 It was an afternoon filled with great food, island vibes, laughter, and plenty of aloha spirit! 🏝️💕

This week we are shining some light on our CRCA, Gracie! Gracie has been with Harrison Springs since August of 2025. She is such breath of fresh air and has been ever since she joined us. We asked Gracie some questions about her role and here is what she had to say:

“What is the best advice a resident has given you?”
Enjoy my younger years because time goes by fact and these are the best years of my life!

“If you could tell your story in six words, what would they be?”
Small acts create the biggest impact

“What do you love most about your job?”
I love being able to make a difference in my residents lives and growing close to them all. It always puts a smile on my face when they tell me their life stories.
